Brother Marcus, Canary Wharf

Brother Marcus Canary Wharf sits within the prestigious YY London building and is the latest restaurant in the growing Brother Marcus collection. We have worked with the brand for several years, supporting multiple locations with contract-grade restaurant furniture tailored to each space.

Designed by Finch Interiors, the 174-cover restaurant blends modern Mediterranean elegance with the relaxed atmosphere Brother Marcus is known for. Despite a tight programme and the challenges of a high-profile Canary Wharf setting, the team delivered a warm, layered and cohesive scheme.

For this latest opening, we worked closely with the designers to supply restaurant furniture that enhances the aesthetic while standing up to the demands of a busy, high-volume hospitality environment.

Inside, we supplied the Gem bentwood cross back chairs, Forza commercial table bases, Carrara marble tabletops and solid ash tabletops stained to match a client-approved sample. Outside, we supplied Marlow outdoor chairs in Sage Green, paired with Carrara marble tabletops manufactured with marine plywood fixing plates for added durability in outdoor conditions.

174 Covers Across Interior and Exterior Dining

The restaurant provides 90 covers inside and 84 on the terrace. In addition, the exterior features a spacious bar with seated and standing areas beneath a retractable roof. Therefore, the furniture needed to perform year-round while maintaining a consistent design language.

Gem Bentwood Cross Back Chairs

The Gem chair introduces a timeless café feel that works perfectly within the Mediterranean-inspired interior. Its curved frame softens the space, while the woven seat adds warmth and texture. As a result, it complements the terracotta tones, layered lighting and soft banquette seating throughout the restaurant.

At the same time, the chair delivers the strength required for high-volume service. In a 174-cover environment, durability is just as important as design.

Carrara Marble and Bespoke Stained Ash Tabletops

Carrara marble tabletops appear throughout the restaurant, creating a refined yet relaxed finish. They reflect the warm lighting beautifully and tie the indoor and outdoor spaces together.

Meanwhile, we custom stained the solid ash tabletops to match a client-approved sample. This ensured full alignment with the material palette specified by Finch Interiors.

Marlow Outdoor Chairs and Exterior Specification

For the terrace, we specified Marlow outdoor chairs in Sage Green. The colour works naturally with the planting and the light architectural structure, helping the exterior feel like a true extension of the interior.

The exterior tables use the same Carrara marble tops as inside. However, for outdoor performance, we manufactured them with marine plywood fixing plates to provide additional structural stability in external conditions.
